Frog’s Year in Review: Portfolio News in 2021

Here’s our annual recap of our fantastic Frog portfolio companies and what they’ve been getting up to throughout the year. 

This year we have announced our investment into Genasys the leading digital platform for insurance businesses. The company has already created an industry leading modular state-of-the-art platform that is gaining increasing momentum in a transforming ecosystem. 

We have also invested in world leading investigation and intelligence software, Clue. The company has already more than doubled ARR in the past 2 years, powering investigations to fight crime.

Additionally, we have also invested in  Caspar Health, leading their latest funding round. Germany’s leading digital aftercare platform is helping both hospitals and patients improve the long-term results of operations and other healthcare procedures.

Winningtemp is now ranked as the fastest growing SaaS company in Sweden. The leading AI-based employee engagement software platform continues to help leaders understand their workforce and how to support them. 

Sofatutor has partnered up with leading tutoring providers Studienkreis to provide all Studienkreis branches with Sofatutor access. Both companies are equipping over 1,000 tutoring schools with Sofatutor licenses. 

SHE Software has a rebrand and is now known as Evotix to enhance the next phase of growth. The business’ proposition is focussed on giving its clients ‘the confidence to transform’.

Meanwhile, McMakler, Germany’s fastest-growing online real estate agent announced in the first half of 2021 that they grew by almost 100% compared to the first half of 2020.  

Modulr’s growing profile as one of the key leaders in FinTech Payments took a further step in 2021 being ranked 42nd in Deloitte’s fast 50 groups in the UK. The Service API platform continues to deliver businesses dramatic payments improvements in speed, transparency, cost and flexibility. 

Sellics provides Amazon vendors with their market leading pay-per-click (PPC) benchmarking tool, allowing users to analyse their campaigns across the platform to gain insights into how their ads are performing in an easy to digest dashboard view.  

Azimo launched a nationwide campaign celebrating the hard work, resilience and spirit of migrants. The smartphone-based money transfer wanted to launch the campaign to counteract negative headlines in the tabloids aimed at demonising migrants to the UK.

Finally, Rated People have appointed Dale Murray CBE to Board. Dale hopes to provide a new level of depth and breadth to Rated People’s board of directors, allowing the business to build on its previous accomplishments while speeding the future growth.
