As Leonardo da Vinci said “Study the science of art. Study the art of science. Develop your senses – especially learn how to see. Realise that everything connects to everything else.”
I myself could never decide between the sciences and the arts – I found myself enjoying various subjects and quickly discovered that I have a very curious mind. As a young child I immersed myself in the performing arts – dance, music, theatre and film were part of something I enjoyed. Concurrently, in school I picked subjects in the fields of science and technology. I ended up pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering with Management at the University of Edinburgh whilst creating theatre shows and bringing people together to help improve mental health and wellbeing on campus.
During my time at university, I developed a strong interest in investment, finance and entrepreneurship. I decided to pursue a career in finance and joined Barclays as an Investment Banking Analyst covering Healthcare, Chemicals, Energy and Infrastructure sectors.
After working in investment banking, I moved into private equity, portfolio management and business development. Over the past years, I have gained a breadth of experience ranging from investing in mature businesses, supporting management on strategic objectives to supporting on new business development and growth investments.
Frog Capital has a strong vision with a clear course of action, constantly evolving and striving to be the best – I felt myself strongly aligned to the values and principles of Frog and I am excited to be supporting Mike, Jens and Steven on growing dynamic businesses.
