McMakler secures €50 million in investment round led by Baillie Gifford

Frog portfolio company McMakler has recently secured an additional 50 million euros from investors, valuing the business at €800m. The financing round was led by Baillie Gifford (one of the leading crossover investors globally) who have worked to lead McMakler’s Series D, and Warburg Pincus who have increased their shareholding in the Berlin-based brokerage company after their initial investment in 2021 . Frog Capital remains the largest shareholder in McMakler.

As McMakler’s Founder & CEO, Felix Jahn states, “We are proud to have won Baillie Gifford, one of the world’s leading pre-IPO investors with unique expertise in setting up technology companies, as a partner. We now have exactly the right partner at our side for the coming years.”

For McMakler, the idea is to use the additional capital to expand the core business.  Additionally, they are looking to invest more internally, strengthening technologies to continue being in pole position as Germany’s best known and well-known hybrid real estate agency.
