Skimlinks chosen by 20 new enterprise accounts to scale commerce content globally

Skimlinks – the leading global commerce content platform – announced last month that they have signed 20 new enterprise publishers, including Vice and Verizon Media. The platform already works with more than 50 of the Top 100 US and UK content publishers and over 60,000 publishers overall around the world, and Skimlinks are looking towards scaling commerce content as a key revenue stream for publishers in the 2020s and beyond.

Included amongst the new signings in North America and Canada are VerticalScope, Advance Local and Discovery Inc. International signings include HELLO! Magazine and JPI Media in the UK, with SCMP Magazines Publishing Limited and Yahoo Australia, Taiwan and Hong Kong in APAC.

Skimlinks CEO Sebastien Blanc says, “Commerce content is exploding because it capitalises on publishers’ key asset – their editorial reputations – and offers a viable revenue alternative to advertising that is scaling at speed. We’re delighted that these iconic brands have recognised the value commerce content can bring to their businesses and have chosen Skimlinks to power their commerce strategies. A few years ago we spoke about commerce as a revenue stream that could contribute a six figure sum to a publisher’s bottom line. Now the best in the market are generating hundreds of millions of dollars from their commerce content.”

In other recent exciting news for Skimlinks, their VP revenue EMEA & APAC Dunia Silan has made the PerformanceIN50 list of top industry players in performance marketing in 2019. The list highlights individuals from around the world who continue to steer, innovate and inspire the industry. Of Dunia, PeformanceIN says, “Dunia has made it her mission to push the performance marketing industry forward by bringing full transparency to advertisers using affiliate marketing and expanding commerce content as a meaningful revenue stream in APAC, with special attention paid to solutions to take advantage of the growth in mobile commerce.”
