Employee turnover rates say a lot about a company. Not only can it damage your team’s morale and ability to perform, but it also impacts the company by losing valuable knowledge and experience.
Frog Capital’s newest investment Winningtemp, the leading AI-based employee engagement software platform, identifies the factors that strongly predict employee turnover and absenteeism in their new whitepaper based on the science behind their survey.
With the aid of lecturer and researcher Leif Denti, The Science Behind Winningtemp’s Survey uncovers over 60 factors that are important to keep track of so that companies can foresee turnover and sickness leave. The factors were then divided into 9 categories:
- Autonomy
- Personal development
- Leadership
- Meaningfulness
- Participation
- Work situation
- Job satisfaction
- Commitment
- Team spirit
The study also explained the concept of predictive validity and why it was the main focus for Winningtemp’s survey.
According to Winningtemp, “Predictive validity is the ability of the phenomenon (and question scale) to predict future outcomes. A person who scores highly on a university entrance exam should reasonably be better able to complete their higher education than someone who scores lower on the test – if this is not the case, we should not be using university entrance exam tests as selection tests.”
