Evotix on why digital transformation is vital for businesses to level-up their health and safety agendas

Matthew Elson, CEO of Frog portfolio company Evotix, recently penned some insights into how to go about creating a safer and smarter future through deploying digital solutions.

Since the company was founded in 1995, Evotix has been developing health and safety management software with multiple offices across the globe. With the health and safety at the forefront of Evotix, their Assure solution enables clients to provide their employees with an accessible process to manage health and safety efficiently.

In his thought piece, Elson talks about how the world is going through a digital transformation and is now vital in every aspect of the business including environment, health, and safety. When deployed correctly, digital solutions can help to deliver improved processes that enable workforces to work smarter.

Although the idea of transformation can be daunting when done correctly, the processes can allow optimisation of the workforce and for them to work strategically with the correct processes in place. To do this, businesses need “every part of the organisation to be able to operate at the same pace, sharing data in the same way”.

Digital transformation allows employees to have the correct tools and information available to them as it has the potential to embed the company’s safety practices within the operations.

It also allows employers to deploy the correct solutions that enable them to make data-driven decisions efficiently including capturing risks, recording and investigating incidents and managing follow-up actions, amongst others. By adopting this approach and engaging the workforce, it provides them with the correct processes that are easy to follow and encourages feedback and collaboration.
