Azimo, the leading digital money transfer service, and Modulr, the digital payment alternative for businesses, have both made The FinTech50 – a list of the top Fintech companies in Europe. The list is in its seventh year and the companies chosen are selected by some of the biggest names in Fintech.
Azimo enables payments from Europe to more than 200 countries and territories in more than 80 currencies, reaching more than 5 billion potential customers. In April, 2019, Azimo secured a licence from the Dutch Central Bank to operate its services in the Netherlands.
Modulr is one of the first Fintechs to be directly integrated into the Bank of England Payment Rails. They have transacted over £10Bn through their platform and have recently collaborated with Sage to help simplify accounts payable and payroll for millions of UK businesses.
Other companies who made the list for 2019 include Revolut, OakNorth, and Monzo.
