Mike joined Frog as Managing Partner in 2008. He currently represents Frog on the Boards of OrderDynamics and Rated People. Mike was the lead Partner on Frog’s successful investment in GB Group. Prior to Frog, Mike spent 12 years as Director at 3i investing in technology businesses. He was actively involved on Boards of high-growth companies across the UK, US & Nordic regions. Mike started his career at British Gas, gaining operational management experience and was responsible for a £250m property portfolio. Mike holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Bath. Mike is also the IFB Forum Chairman for the Institute of Family Business.

Iyad joined the business in 2006 and became a Partner in 2010. He has led several successful investment cycles, including SiC Processing AG and, and currently represents Frog on the Boards of Azimo, Scoota, Ostara and Skimlinks.

Iyad came to Frog with six years’ experience in the technology industry, including operational roles in two start-ups, and four years as a Product Marketing Engineer at AMD in California. Further technology investment experience includes time as an Associate at Kennet Capital, and as an Equity Analyst focused on technology equities.

Iyad holds an MBA from London Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University.

Martin is one of those rare executives who has transitioned a successful career as CEO/entrepreneur to one of a venture capitalist. Following 15 years of operational experience starting, building and selling companies, he and his three partners developed Creandum, best known for its investments in Vivino, Spotify and iZettle, into one of the most successful VC funds in the Nordic region.   At Creandum he lead multiple exits including: Jays AB (IPO), IPtronics (acquired by Mellanox), and Nanoradio (acquired by Samsung) and Autobutler (acquired by PSA Group — the carmaker behind the brands Peugeot, Citroën and DS).  During Martin’s early entrepreneurial years, he co-founded Creuna, which is today the largest digital agency in the Nordics.     

Martin holds the position as Chairman of No Isolation AS and VIBBIO.  In addition, he remains a non-executive director at Creandum and Appear TV.

Martin holds an MSc from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), studied law at the University of Copenhagen and business studies at International Institute for Management Development (IMD) and Stanford University.

Steven has over 15 years of private equity experience gained both within private equity firms and their portfolio companies and joined Frog as CFO and Partner in 2015. Prior to joining Frog, Steven spent four years at Syscap, a leading provider of alternative funding to SMEs, where he was CFO and managed the successful process leading to the acquisition of the company by Wesleyan Assurance Society. Alongside a track record of operational experience (including HR and IT responsibilities) in growth-stage companies, Steven spent four years as a Portfolio Director at Livingbridge, the UK private equity fund. Steven began his career as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1990. In addition to holding a MA in Economics from Cambridge University, he also has a diploma in Organisational Psychology.

Joe joined Frog in 2009 and was promoted to Partner in 2015. Joe led the investment in EDITED and represents Frog as a Non-Executive Director on the Board. Joe is also a Non-Executive Director of Mediatonic and a Board Observer at OrderDynamics, Scoota, Rated People and Skimlinks.

Joe leads Frog’s collaboration with the London Business School on the TELL Series, serving as an Advisory Board Member since 2010.

Prior to Frog, Joe gained experience working at 3i with Mike, and at Jefferies in their Technology Investment Banking team. Previously, he worked as a consultant for seven years, advising and executing large-scale IT projects. Joe began his career at Ernst & Young in Chicago.

Joe holds an MBA from London Business School and a BSc with Distinction and an MSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Jens joined Frog in 2012 and was promoted to Partner in 2016. Active across all Frog’s investment themes, he has a particular focus on investment opportunities in German-speaking Europe and BeNeLux. Jens led the recent investment in McMakler and represents Frog as a Non-Executive Director on the Board. Jens was also an Observer on the Board of Azimo and continues to work closely with their team. 

Jens joined Frog from Pioneer Point Partners, the European mid-market investor. Previously, he was part of the Fidelity Equity Partner team in London, Fog City Capital’s team in San Francisco and Apax’s Munich based TMT team. Jens began his career with four years as a corporate finance advisor at Dresdner Kleinwort.

Jens holds an MSci in Theoretical Physics from the University of Durham and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. He speaks German, English and French.

Sue began advising the firm in 2002 and became a Non-Executive Partner in 2006.

Sue has 26 years’ private equity experience and is currently Chairman of the Investment Committee at Epi-V, one of Europe’s most active venture capital investors in the oil and gas sector. Previously, she spent 15 years at 3i in various roles, including as Director of the Transaction team where she managed a portfolio of £150m.

Sue began her career as an accountant with KPMG, and holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of St. Andrews.

David is an investor and long-time advisor to Frog Capital.   

With a rare blend of growth and turnaround CEO credibility alongside extensive private equity track record, David is an accomplished business operator within complex international markets. Passionate about how strategy is defined and translated into effective execution, David always has impactful insights on the businesses he engages with.  

David now holds a number of executive chairman and board roles, including the Shepherd Group, Ramco and Tharsus.  From 2004 to 2011, David grew and successfully sold Serimax Holdings, initially a French focussed business and laterally an international company having expanded to the UK and US.  Prior to this, David spent 18 years at 3i in various leadership and investment roles.

Conor joined Frog as an Associate in 2016, where he supports our deal origination, execution and due diligence efforts.

He joined us from Forward Partners, an early stage VC fund that focuses primarily on eCommerce businesses. Previously, he spent 4 years at Arma Partners, an M&A advisory boutique, where he advised on several high profile European technology transactions, including the sales of Momondo to Great Hill Partners, CarTrawler to BC Partners and Metrologic to Astorg Partners.

Conor holds a BSc in Economics from the University of York, and outside of the office is a keen snowboarder and rugby fan.
