Winningtemp: How to use data to inform your people strategy

Frog Capital’s portfolio company Winningtemp investigated how data collection can help to understand how employees are coping with “work situations, the company’s purpose vision and values”, which revealed some interesting insights. Regardless of the size, organisations are starting to collect real-time data to understand how it will impact the business going forward and to bring about meaningful change.

Winningtemp is passionate about providing a solution on how to help leaders understand their workforce and how to support them, with long-term goals including reducing employee turnover. Leaders need to work with their HR department to determine triggers and timely data can help to identify the problem and suggest immediate solutions.

Another goal would be to boost employee well-being by providing employees with an anonymous way to voice their concerns and ideas. By actively listening and following up on the anonymous messages, the data can inform longer-term strategies and values.

Additionally, finding the focus of your people’s strategy can help to translate the organisations business objectives. As Winningtemp’s Head of HR, Sara Holmberg explains “Start by asking yourself: Where are we as a company? Where are we going? Your people strategy must be in sync with the company vision, mission, values, desired behaviour, and the overall business strategy.”

Collecting the data should help you to understand how you can help your employees to reach their full potential and the analytics can play a huge role in evaluating the strategy going forward to build a better working culture.
