Ex-Pantheon International Plc Board Director joins Frog Capital as part of shift towards ‘Positive Growth Capital’

As an operational expert in European high-growth software scale-ups, Frog’s Operating Partner team of experienced specialists are closer to the heartbeat of scale-ups than most investors at our stage. Over the last decade, we have seen the power of genuinely purpose-led founders and how this approach drives real business value.

With ‘Greenwashing’ running wild and every fund seeming to have a head of ESG these days, how do investors differentiate? The answer is People & Culture, particularly at the very senior levels.

We are still learning and developing our approach. What is clear is that, for us, it’s a genuine shift owned by the full team. And one that needs to be cultivated with fresh input and challenge. So we are delighted to announce that Susannah Nicklin has joined our Board as a Non-Executive Director to support us.

Susannah blends world class commercial experience at Pantheon International Plc and Goldman Sachs with leading, pragmatic experience working with businesses making a difference at the Schroder BSC Social Impact Trust Plc.

Susannah shared a few words on her reasons for joining Frog and how she will be contributing to Frog’s future, “I am delighted to be joining the Frog board as a Non-Executive Director. I have been impressed with the team’s culture of continuous learning and inclusivity, and their commitment to investing with positive impact. Their disciplined focus on European software and the Frog Scale-Up Methodology provide a powerful engine for repeatable success, and is a game-changer for their investees. The company is at an exciting stage, with strong portfolios beginning to show attractive performance across the first two funds. I look forward to being part of the next chapter, its own ‘scale up’, and helping Frog fulfil its strategic ambitions to be a leader in Growth Equity in their field in Europe.”

This has always been part of Frog’s DNA. We have always invested in companies that add value, and in turn, through our Operating Partners and Scale-Up Methodology, we work to add value to our portfolio companies. We are now putting even greater focus on how our investments add value to society, both by what they do and how they do it.
