Why we invested in GB Group
Digital identity and ID verification is now a mature, high profile industrial category. In 2009, when Frog invested in GB Group, it was a little known, upandcoming market. Frog foresaw the growing regulatory drivers, shift to online commerce and requirement for lower cost solutions, three themes that GB Group address better than other growth companies that Frog was tracking in the sector.
Frog worked closely with Richard and his team to find a new chairman, develop and execute a successful M&A strategy and to invest in a new platform resulting in higher growth and a strong international expansion.
