Diversity and inclusion
Frog invests in purpose-driven European Software companies that are scaling fast. That means high-growth: in revenues, customers and the teams that drive growth.
We know that to drive growth the businesses we invest in need the best possible talent. We strongly believe we can unlock opportunities for innovation and success by embracing diversity and inclusion, to attract and retain the best talent regardless of gender, race, sexuality or neurodiversity.
Walking the walk
The best way we can encourage the companies we invest in to follow these principles is to live by them ourselves. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment to work in and thrive for everybody. Frog’s culture is focused on continuous learning and development on an individual and organisational level.
We continually strive for improvement and review and improve policies and practices to ensure fairness for all. We are focused on maintaining a culture of psychological safety and offer ongoing support and education to our team.
Step by step
The improvement in our gender metrics over the last 2-3 years reflects our ongoing commitment to diversity. We are proud to have recently appointed Susannah Nicklin as our Chair.
We know that outside of Frog there is so much more to be done to improve diversity and inclusion in our industry, which is why we have chosen 3 initiatives that we believe are making a positive impact:
- We recently became a signatory of the Investing in Women Code (IIWC) to support the advancement of female entrepreneurship and are committed to continually doing the work to be part of the solution to this problem
- As sponsors of DiversityVC we actively seek out diverse candidates to join us for internships and we align with their mission to promote diversity with venture capital in operations, deal flow and portfolio
- Frog are also proud sponsors of Level20 and fully support their mission to advance gender diversity within Private Equity
Send us your deck
As part of our commitment to diversity and inclusion we want to encourage diverse founders and team to engage with us. We understand that pitching for growth capital is not straight forward and we want to be clear that we are actively seeking to make our portfolio more diverse and inclusive. With that in mind we have created a guided process to help businesses pitch to us, so we can improve how we engage with diverse groups.
